Obligatory costs for entrepreneurs
As a modern (start-up) entrepreneur I think you need to equip yourself with the modern-day tools to help you achieve your objectives. Of course online accounting is one of these. Beside the fact you cooperate optimally with the accountant, you also avoid a great deal of bother regarding automation. Start doing it online and everything is taken care for you: from availability to backups.
In this way the tools are there that a modern entrepreneur really cannot afford to be without. A smartphone is one of those. While the mobile telephone was a medium to communicate one-on-one with friends and relations, the smartphone takes the next step. The new generation of telephones is a means to communicate ‘one-to-many’, even with strangers.
It’s a whole new ball game compared to what we were used to until recently. It is, however, something typical you should experience. So get rid of your old Nokia and go into battle at once with an iPhone, Google Android or Windows Mobile phone. Go out and discover right away what Twitter can mean for you. This is particularly useful for people who don’t need to go into great depth about something. “I don’t need to know when you go to the WC, or what you eat.” Frequently followed by booming laughter. You’ll hear all that nonsense if, as a user, you’re in the lead and an early adopter. But you choose yourself who you listen to or watch (follow). It’s just like radio and TV, except you are now your own broadcaster. And your potential audience is enormous! The beauty of Twitter is you can share, communicate and discover.
Sadly, that doesn’t apply to my business. Wrong! More and more people are active online! You visit websites, search and find with Google, you discover, buy, start relationships, and want to share experiences. So join in, be inspired and become 2.0. What obligatory costs?
